The Veritas AI program was a transformative learning experience that introduced me to the fascinating world of artificial intelligence. Led by a team of mentors who are esteemed researchers and graduates from renowned institutions such as Harvard, Stanford, and Columbia, the program provided me with a strong foundation in AI and its real-world applications.

The curriculum was comprehensive, starting with the basics of Python and progressing to advanced topics like neural networks, image classification, and sentiment analysis. I had the opportunity to explore diverse AI applications, such as healthcare, gaming, and finance, while working on projects that showcased the impact AI can have in solving global challenges.

This was the course that started it all for me. It gave me both a thorough understanding of the principles in AI - I still remember the lecture on how CNNs are constructed - and it gave me the opportunity to work on applications. The project I worked on and presented was on the CIFAR 10 dataset. I did this course pretty early on in high school - back when I didn't have much experience coding, but this was the course that made me decide that AI was going to be what I would build my career in. This was the course that influenced me to dive deeper into AI ML, ultimately leading to me choosing my specialization in university as AI DS.

Moreover, the mentorship model was incredibly valuable. The 1:1 mentoring sessions provided personalized guidance, ensuring I understood the nuances of AI concepts and could confidently troubleshoot challenges in my projects. The program also fostered a strong sense of community, connecting me with like-minded peers passionate about AI and creating a network of mentors who remain an invaluable resource in my academic and professional journey.

Veritas AI was not just an educational program but the starting point of my journey in AI. It shaped my career path, provided me with foundational skills, and gave me the confidence and connections to pursue ambitious projects in this field.
